![]() ![]() ![]() “Commission” means the Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission constituted under the Act.“ Check Meter” means a meter, used for accounting and billing of electricity in case of failure of Net Meter or Solar Generation Meter.“Billing Cycle” or “Billing Period” means the period for which the electricity bill is raised by the concerned Distribution Licensee.“ Area of supply” means the geographic area within which the licensee, for the time being, is authorized by its License to supply electricity.“Agreement” means a connection agreement entered into between the Distribution Licensee and the consumer.“Act” means the Electricity Act, 2003 (36 of 2003) as amended from time to time.In these Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires,.These Regulations shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette.These Regulations shall extend to the whole of the State of Tamil Nadu.These Regulations may be called the Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission (Grid Interactive Solar PV Energy Generating Systems) Regulations, 2021.Objection or suggestion, if any, should be addressed in duplicate along with soft copy to the Secretary, Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission, 4 th Floor, SIDCO Corporate Office Building, Thiru Vi Ka Industrial Estate, Guindy, Chennai – 600 032.Notice is hereby given that the draft Regulations will be taken into consideration after expiry of fifteen days from the date of publication of this Notification in the TNERC website and that any objection or suggestion, which may be received from any person before the expiry of the aforesaid period will be considered by the Commission.The following draft of the Regulations which it is proposed to make in exercise of the powers conferred by section 181 read with Sections 61, 86(1) (e) of the Electricity Act, 2003 (Central Act 36 of 2003) and all other powers enabling it in this behalf, is hereby published for information of all persons likely to be affected thereby, as required by sub section (3) of section 181 of the said Act. ![]()
